Truth is teenagers these days dont really care about their future as much, they just want to finish high school. Most girls in high school think they are in love with their boyfriend, they think, "Oh, my prince Charming has arrived and we are going to live happily ever after.
" WRONG! Most high school boys just have a girlfriend to pass the time with also to have SEX. Girls do not think that by having a baby this guy will stay with you. The harsh truth is that he probably wont stay with you and leave you to care for your child alone, sometimes guys dont pay child support. So what does your pretty little-self have to do. You have to go to the wealfare office and file for food stamps and medicaid, because your baby's daddy isnt around or maybe doesnt have a job to pay for the both of you. Not all teenagers that get pregnant get careless and apply for food stamps, some teenage parents actually do make it. To parents of teenagers that are getting pregnant, DONT be afraid to talk to your child about sex. It is better for you to have the birds and the bees talk with them when they are young because you dont want an accident to occur. Truth is, if you talk to your child and are opened to them, they are probably going to trust you even more. And when they are faced with a hard situation guess who they will come to first..... YOU!
